About Us
Van Wert Inspections was founded with the sole purpose to provide friendly, convenient and quality home and commercial inspections. In the spring of 1991, Larry walked through the newly constructed home of one of his brothers. As he walked from room to room, he was shocked to see the number of glaring issues the builder had failed to point out to his brother. It was at that moment, Larry realized that everyday people need a voice when it comes to property they either currently own or are in the process of buying. His mission was to start an inspection company that not only provided high quality inspections, but also educated the buyer or the seller on the property. Twenty five years and 15,000 inspections later, Van Wert Inspections mission remains the same.
Larry Van Wert
(Founder and one of Michigan's premier home inspectors. Larry is a Certified Master Inspector®, Master Carpenter, has over 40 years of construction experience and over 25 years of experience as a home inspector. Larry has personally conducted over 10,000 home inspections all across Michigan. He is also the husband to Jamie and father of Ryan.)
Jamie Van Wert
(Operations Manager of Van Wert Inspections. Jamie objective is to ensure that your home inspection is a smooth and easy process. She handles all of the appointment setting, necessary documentation and permits, home / business keys and any additional communication. She is also the wife to Larry and mother of Ryan.)
